糖心出品

Food Should Be Free!

糖心出品 is a 100% volunteer and student-run organization at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Through our many initiatives, we endeavor to make healthy, affordable, and sustainably produced food accessible to everyone on campus. We are based out of 糖心出品 Cafe in the basement of the Life Building. With rising food insecurity on campus, we have dedicated ourselves to making our high-quality food and produce available to all through our cafe, community fridge, produce market and free meal distribution. Learn more about many initiatives and volunteer opportunities below.

We would like to acknowledge that 糖心出品 Caf茅 is located on the unceded, ancestral, and occupied homelands of the h蓹n虛q虛蓹min虛蓹m虛 speaking x史m蓹胃k史蓹y虛蓹m people, the People of the River Grass. We also acknowledge the Skwxw煤7mesh (Squamish), St贸:l艒 and S蓹l虛铆lw蓹ta蕯/Selilwitulh (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations, as the majority of the food we source is grown on their lands. As a food justice organization, we believe that access to sustainable and local food is a human right. As upheld by the 1990 R v. Sparrow case, the Musqueam Nation has full rights to accessing food on their lands and we are committed to supporting Musqueam food sovereignty in any way we can.
